Third and two?

I'm not the type of guy that cries easily, but tears were streaming down my face last night when Jake Locker was injured. My prayers were going out to our good friend last night, and when he stiffly walked back on the field at the end of the game it was obvious those prayers were answered.

The hit was questionable, it was helmet to helmet. It was obvious that Afalava led with his helmet. If you abide by the rules of the game he should have ejected even though I don't think his intent was to hurt Locker.

"We never stopped fighting," Willingham said. "And as a team, we didn't give up."

That is true Ty, but why would you throw long on third and two late in the game while driving with the tired Beavers on their heals? With two plays to get two yards what are you doing throwing the ball?

Another question, why can't you get a play in?

Husky fans, draw your own conclusions.

Five straight years without a bowl game..... .

Didn't get to listen to this one, had to get fingerprinted this morning, but I checked the score before I left. That was around the 2nd Q. I wasn't impressed.

I've seen the same posted on dawgman...the team didn't stop fighting, and we've seen that all year, but...sorry, it's just a "wtf?" situation to read about. Maybe they were being aggressive and trying to catch them off guard by throwing on 3rd and 2.

Getting a play in? Are they watching the game as fans or coaches?

Thanks Carl for the effort. Apparently he kept us in it along with the receivers and it's nice to have him available.

I like the type of players TW and his coaches recruit, but if they don't know how to use them...I'm leaning toward change.

Pretty low class behavior by the Huskies after Locker went out. Several late hits on the OSU defender who hit Locker and when they could exact the justice they wanted they ripped the OSU running backs helmet off and punched him in the face. All after a hit that was neither illegal or intentional and due to his reappearance all that bad. Washington fans should expect more from their players than this low class display, I would be embarrassed to be associated with the program this morning.

Welcome to Willingham's world......as many from Notre Dame already know, it simply will not happen. Cut your losses and run.

I don't care about what Notre Dame thinks, I would rather have Willingham than Weis.

Low class behavior by UW? I think you should watch the replay with an unjaded eye.

Hair, the team didn't stop fighting, and that means something.
