If Ty Willingham is on top of his game he should be on the phone with former Michigan defensive coordinator Ron English who was let go in the staff changeover at Michigan.
"I can understand that he wants to bring in the people that have been with him for years," defensive coordinator Ron English told The Associated Press after having dinner with the coaching staff. "But when you lose your job, it's hard."
English would be a great fit at Washington.

I would be very happy with English also. Wonder if Schilling is thinking: Will he become to the new regime thinking as one of Carr's guys!
I think Schilling is happy, he picked the school, not the coach.
Johnb, your thoughts on the wholesale turnover on UM staff. Do you think its going to hurt the new staff in recruiting, building the relationships so to speak with the high school coaches,or is that an overused excuse for retaining a few members of the old staff that high rollers liked. You have preached continuity, so curious how you view the turnover at UM.
I think kids go to Michigan because of the school, and tradition. I don't think the change over is going to hurt them at all.
I think everyone looks at Rodgriguez as an improvement over Carr.
Michigan is Michigan, they can do what they want and it will work.
Do you guys consider UW that kind of school? Meaning you come for the school and not the coach? I did, and do, but I wonder how personal that thought is.
I am a Michigan fan and sad about losing English. As a Husky fan as well, I hope they can bring him aboard.
I think Schilling definitely stays with the Wolverines, though.
