Pac Ten Alley

I will be taking a week off from Pac Ten Alley since I am still down in Arizona on vacation. I will however be checking in as Duck fans dive on in with pithy little comments to add to our misery.

My one thought this morning is what if Washington just happens to show up on Saturday, and beat the Ducks?

Wouldn't it be great, and wouldn't it be improbable?

As I said in yesterdays blog in the PI with Nathan, the Ducks need to self destruct for UW to beat them, but they did exactly that against Cal in the fourth quarter which by the way probably cost them the #1 rating in the country.

Anything is possible this year in college football, and funny things do still happen in Husky Stadium.

I have to get going, I have to meet up with an Oregon grad who will be carrying my bag this morning on the course.

Cheers!

John, don't give up on the dawgs yet. Remember who we have played, how hard the kids are playing and their toughness. I believe with ASU's schedule we would have been 6-1 or 5-2. We are improved and once TW gets 5 years of recruits we will be competetive. Remember where we have been. We were in the crapper. The year is not over and we were in every game (last game excluded) until the end. Who thought we would be better than 2-4? I did but not many more. Good things will happen and it might on Saturday. I thought that you would have felt this way early on but you got to hang in there. My 2 cents.

Don't worry, I am just licking my wounds and getting my game face on. I haven't lost faith, and I know any game from now on may be the ultimate turning point.
