Weekly Predictions

The Huskies and Cal are taking the week off but there is plenty of action going on elsewhere. I only went 6-4 last week, and I am 42-18 for the season. Last week I blew the call on Oregon, WSU, Florida, and Penn St.

Pac Ten Games

Arizona State at WSU

Dennis Erickson returns home to the Palouse a place where he has left three times to pursure better options. WSU is reeling after making Arizona look like a good team last weekend. ASU is undefeated after a cupcake schedule. I take ASU by 17 since the WSU defense can't stop squat.

Stanford at USC

The Trojans couls use a bye week after being physically beat up at Washington, and they get the next best thing. No love lost between Harbaugh and Carroll. USC by 31.

Arizona at Oregon St

This will be an interesting game, and I have to go with OSU because I think their defense can keep the MildCat offense in check.

Notre Dame at UCLA

Inconsistent and sloppy UCLA will have no problems hanging loss #6 on the Irish. UCLA by 21.

National Games

The biggest games in the country will be in the Big Ten and SEC this weekend.

Kentucky at South Carolina

This will be an excellent Thursday night game. These are the upstarts of the SEC who are beginning to make some noise. I have to go with Kentucky in this one by 3. Rich Brooks, and his QB have something good going on.

Florida at LSU

This is the big game of the week as last years national champ plays this years #1 team. Florida is one of the few teams that can play with LSU, but I take LSU by 14 at home.

Ohio State at Purdue

This is a battle of the undefeated Big Ten teams. The Buckeyes have risen to #4 in the polls, but I think they are ready for an upset on the road. I take Purdue by 3.

Wisconsin at Illinois

The Illini are back until their coach gets them on probation for recruiting violations. In the meantime everyone in the conference better look out. I am taking Illinois by 3 in this one.

Oklahoma at Texas

The battle for the Red River has two teams facing each other who lose last week. I am going with Oklahoma because Texas hasn't seemed right all year. Oklahoma by 7

Georgia at Tennessee

The reign of Phil Fulmer will likely end at the end of this season. Another SEC loss, this time to Georgia will put another nail in the coffin. Georgia by 10

Virginia Tech at Clemson

Tech is having an off year, and Clemson is smarting after losing to Georgia Tech. I take Clemson at home in Death Valley by 10.

Nebraska at Missouri

These are the game that Gary Pinkel usually finds a way to lose. I think he persevers this year and wins by 7.

Cincinnati at Rutgers

The two little teams that could face off in the big East and I am taking the rejuvinated Bearcats by 7.

Johnb, I might be off but I thought the AZ wildcats were playing Ore St, not Ore.
