I was pretty surprised to hear about this move, a Pac Ten assistant taking a lateral move to a WAC school. Burton has proven himself to be a top notch recruiter at OSU so I find the move to be pretty curious. For those that would have liked to have seen him at UW, it will happen some day, but right now we don't need a DB coach.
Speaking about defensive coordinators it looks like Young from Kansas is going to accept the position at Miami which means that Ty may end up with Jacksonville's Tom Williams. If you remember Williams coached at UW under Neuheisel and he did a fine job with the LB's.

Apparently Burton is going to be the Defensive Coordinator at Nevada. Sounds like a worthwhile move IMO.
